What does it take to maintain optimism in an atmosphere of great uncertainty? Of mounting negativity, pessimism, fatalism, even nihilism? How can one keep looking on the bright side when everything seems so dark?
"Decolonizing Beauty" is an act of optimism enacted in the face of a creeping feeling of impossibility. The impossibility of thinking inventively when everything seems stacked against inventiveness. When being creative starts to seem like a luxury.

"Decolonizing Beauty" has been commissioned by the Narodowe Forum Muzyki, Wroc?aw, PL, and 16.Jazztopad Festival.
